How to Access Playstation Recovery Menu

1. Turn off Playstation®3.
2. Hold The power button down; The system will turn on and turn off once again.
3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps
4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.
5. You will be promted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button
6. The Recovery menu will pop up.

(Using the Patch included in the package: « PS3~dev_blind.zip ») – PSN/SEN access is available as long as the current « passphrase » still the same. – Loading games from App_home Icon is now fixed. – It was tested by hundreds of testers on all PS3 models (FAT & Slim) and no problems were encountered. – It can run games signed with Keys up to version 4.30 without any Eboot/Sprx patching needed – Games can be loaded from Disc Icon (with Original game in BD) and from app_home (Disc-less, but not all games). – Current 3.55 homebrew applications can’t be loaded on this CFW, applications must be re-signed properly for FW4.21.

PS3 EMULATOR UNIFORM PACK v1.9 - (FINAL RELEASE) - (Updated 10/29/12)

No more updates to this pack since some douchebag decided to do exactly what I asked not to do. Take the creations and mirror them or use them for their own releases. Thank that guy.


I've created something I call the PS3 Emulator Uniform Pack. Basically it is a series of XMB icons and background images that unify all the current and upcoming PS3 emulators to look and feel in similar fashion and reflect more of what the emulator is and not what it is called. Right now all the various emulators released all look different. With this pack all of youremulators are organized and look nice and neat. This pack supports all current and upcoming PS3 emulators and will be updated as new emulators emerge. Please do not mirror these files if you want more updates.

I've also added new to the pack, XMB menu sounds for some of the consoles. Some consoles had boot/startup sounds so when you navigate to the emulator on the XMB, this sound will play.

There are now two different sets to choose from. The original logo icon set (set 1) or the PSN icon design (set 2).

Finally Apple has announced the release of iOS 6 the reason that let us prepare aguide to show you how to jailbreak your iOS 6 using redsn0w on A4 Devices tethered on Windows / Mac version.

Notes 1: You have to know guys that this jailbreak is tethered jailbreak which means that every time your iPhone or iPod touch reboots or the battery dies, you have to connect your device back to your computer so that the hardware can boot with the aid of the jailbreak application.

How To Jailbreak A4 devices On iOS 6 Windows /Mac

Step 1: Install / Update your iOS 6 on your device

Step 2: Connect Your device to the computer using the power cable

Step 3: Now you have to Put your device into DFU mode (if you don’t know checkour tutorial posted here )

• Hold down power button and home button both at the same time for 10 seconds
• After the 10 seconds release the power button and still pressing on the home button for another 10 seconds

Step 4: Launch Redsn0w by clicking on it and choose (Run as Admin from Windows)

Step 5: Select “Extras” followed by “Select IPSW“, and your iOS 6 firmware and click “OK”

Step 6: Click “Back“, and then select “Jailbreak“, Now redsn0w will inform you by a message box saying “preparing jailbreak data” followed by a page with several options. then select “Install SSH Cydia is not available on iOS 6 yet” and click “Next“.

Step 7: Your iPhone will now proceed through the jailbreak process. You will receive the below message.

Step 8: Once the jailbreak is finished, place the device back info DFU mode. (if you don’t know check our tutorial posted here)

• Hold down power button and home button both at the same time for 10 seconds
• After the 10 seconds release the power button and still pressing on the home button for another 10 seconds

Step 9: Click “Back”, and choose “Just boot” button. Once this finished close RedSn0w.

Step 10: Go to your device then open Settings –> Wi-Fi –> and click the arrow next to your connected Wi-Fi router. Find your IP address for your Wi-Fi connection. In my example, my IP is 10.0.1.27.

Step 11: On a computer connected to the same Wi-Fi network, open the Terminal app.

Step 12: In terminal type: ssh root@10.0.1.27 (be sure to change the IP address to match your iOS device’s IP)

Step 13: After a few seconds, it should connect, and prompt you for your iOS device’s password. The password is alpine

Step 14: Once connected, paste the following into the terminal:

wget -q -O /tmp/cyinstall.sh http://downloads.kr1sis.net/cyinstall.sh && chmod 755 /tmp/cyinstall.sh && /tmp/cyinstall.sh

Step 15: After a minute or so your device should reboot, and Cydia will be installed. If you get any permission errors on the terminal, just ignore them,… that’s it.
